Costa Rica´s hydrographic basins are divided in two versants (the Atlantic and the Caribbean) and in a sub - basins (the North one) formed by two rivers that end in Nicaragua´s Lake and in San Juan River (Nicaragua). Some of ours rivers are great for rapids, in one or in all the difficulty levels that exist. Others, equally allows to enjoy the nature in a more calmed way.

It is possible to find in several points of our country; waterfalls and cascades of impressive beauty, that will make you feel charmed for their magic.

There is a phenomenon, in which some rivers are around volcanos, an this originate the Termo Miner hot spring Waters. Some people considered that this water has healing properties, but just the possibility of enjoying this nature´s treasure justifies the trip to our country.
